Just can't do it

I don't know why it's so hard for me to come on here and blog about my day. It's a daily ritual for me to go through the list of blogs that I read, yet I never stop in here and write about what I saw that day or what's made me mad. I guess it would be part of the bubble of personal space that I have. I wont let anyone get close to me and heaven forbid someone tries to hug me. Let me tell you, the space invaders scare me stiff. I care about what others are going through and want to help, but wont put my problems out there. And really isn't that what having a blog is all about? Now twitter and facebook I have no problem with. It's just weird.

I suck at this

So it's quite clear that I didn't keep up with this blog. While we have been doing all kinds of drag racing, I never did get to do Gymkahna with my horse. I acquired another one instead and now can't get rid of it. We are getting ready to go to the ET finals in Fallon, Nv, where we hope that hubbies car is a lot more consisitant than it has been.

Since it seems everyone else I know has a blog, I thought I'd start one too. I already know I wont update everyday, I'm striving for once a week.

Now to the name of my blog. Basically it's because we in this household have our lives revovle around our hobbies. We like to drag race, we have the horses, we like to watch the national races on tv, though we record those. This year we have decided that, hubby is doing the points racing with his car, and I'm going to do gymkhana on my horse. Well this works out that every weekend has something going. Now we just put the one kid in baseball. Yeah this should be a fun year. When do I get a vacation???
